How Hydrafacial Works
A HydraFacial is a non-invasive skincare treatment that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration, and antioxidant protection in one procedure. It’s known for providing immediate results with minimal discomfort or downtime.
Here’s how it works:

Cleansing and Exfoliation. The treatment begins with a gentle cleansing and exfoliation of the skin. A specialized device is used to remove dead skin cells and surface impurities. This step helps to open up the pores and prepare the skin for deeper cleansing.

Acid Peel. A mild acid peel (usually a mixture of glycolic and salicylic acids) is applied to the skin. Unlike traditional chemical peels, this step is gentle and doesn’t cause the skin to peel. It helps to loosen debris in the pores and prepares the skin for the next step.

Extraction. The HydraFacial device uses a vacuum-like tip to painlessly extract impurities, blackheads, and other debris from the pores. This is done while simultaneously infusing the skin with hydrating and moisturizing serums.

Hydration. After extraction, the skin is treated with a hydrating serum that contains antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. This step helps to nourish and protect the skin while enhancing its overall texture and appearance.

Protection and Finishing. Finally, the skin is treated with additional serums tailored to the individual’s skin type and concerns. These serums help to protect the skin and lock in moisture, leaving the skin looking radiant and refreshed.

After one treatment, many patients report visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer. We don’t believe in quick fixes, so one treatment per month is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, and oily and congested skin. Continued HydraFacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain skin health results.
The HydraFacial treatment is never meant to be uncomfortable. The Vortex Fusion Technology is a sensation different from any other dermabrasion treatment. It feels like a light vacuum gliding over your skin, and some patients equate the feeling to a light facial massage.
Consistency is key! We recommend treating the skin with a monthly HydraFacial and a consistent at-home routine to maintain and enhance results.

When I walk in the door, it’s clean and warm inviting. I feel very comfortable going there.I have been getting Dysport and Botox for my treatments with Maria. She is amazing, I always ask for advice, and she always has an answer.They also have amazing skin care products, when they have samples available, they pass them out.That is how I get started on their skin care products. I’m very happy that I found them, I googled them like everybody else and read reviews and they were all amazing. I will return!

I went to The Skin Company for the first time today and I had a great experience. The ease of booking, check-in and check-out was perfect. All of the ladies were so kind and helpful.
